While Joyce’s persistent money problems caused him to lead a life of creative discomfort, he also had to deal with a near lifetime of medical discomfort. Joyce suffered from anterior uveitis, which led to a series of around 12 eye surgeries over his lifetime.

February 16, 1935, entertainer Sonny Bono was born in Michigan. He was of Italian descents and began writing songs in his teens. He achieved commercial success in 1965 singing together with his wife, Cher “I Got You Babe”.
On February 2, World Play your Ukulele Day encourages music lovers to get out their four-stringed instrument and strum away. It’s also a day to get people interested in the ukulele, under the slogan, “bring the world together, four strings at a time.” Ukulele players do this by gathering together for concerts, music festivals, and workshops.
